Slapperz is owned and run by four co-owners, Liam, Nick, Aleksandr, and Denys, who wanted a spot on 2nd Street where you can grab something fast that actually tastes like somebody cared. We opened October 9th, 2026.
- Breakfast through dinner. Bagels and breakfast sandwiches from 7 AM (8 AM Sunday), hot dogs all day.
- Dine in, take out, or delivery. Order on DoorDash or Uber Eats.
- Steps from the beach. Grab breakfast before the beach or a dog after it.

Hot dogs starting at $6.00 with Build Your Own Slapper, plus signature favorites like the Slapperz Signature Dog, Chi-Town, Chili Cheese, and Slappin Slaw Dog. We also serve New York and sourdough bagels, breakfast sandwiches, house-made Slappin' Chic Salad and tuna salad, drinks, and beer.
Do you serve breakfast?
Yes, starting at 7 AM (8 AM on Sunday). Try the Bacon, Egg & Cheese, the Jersey Breakfast with pork roll, or the Sausage, Egg & Cheese, each $9.49 on a Kaiser roll, bagel, or croissant.
What kind of bagels do you have?
New York bagels from the Bronx or sourdough, in plain, sesame, everything, jalapeño cheddar, and cinnamon raisin. Get them with plain cream cheese, a flavored schmear, lox schmear, or as a Lox & Capers Bagel.
Can I build my own hot dog?
Yes. The Build Your Own Slapper is $6.00 and comes with ketchup and mustard. Your first 2 toppings are free and extras are $0.30 each: diced tomatoes, diced onions, jalapeño, meat chili, nacho cheese, or shredded cheese.
Do you have combo deals?
Yes. Make any hot dog, breakfast sandwich, or Chic Salad sandwich a combo for $3.49 more and get a canned soda plus chips or house coleslaw.
